The duration of the written exam for PEO & JA will be 3 hours and will last from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM on 9th July 2023.

OSSSC released a notification on 24/03/2023 inviting online applications for a Combined Recruitment Examination for the posts of Junior Assistant and Panchayat Executive Officer in various districts under the Government of Odisha. The number of vacancies for Junior Assistant is 3099 and for Panchayat Executive Officer is 2297. 

However, the Government of Odisha’s Revenue and Disaster Management Department had sanctioned another 1466 posts of Junior Assistants under various districts. This, along with a few other corrections, resulted in the total number of posts of Junior Assistants to 4565. However, the rules and other processes of selection of suitable candidates remained unchanged. 

The JA & PEO OSSSC Admit Card will be essential for a candidate to appear in the exam.

A candidate will be requiring his/her application/registration number and date of birth to get the admit card. Once the admit card is downloaded, a candidate needs to read the rules and instructions carefully before appearing for the exam.
