PESSAT stands for People’s Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test. It is conducted by People’s Education Society University. The PESSAT test evaluates candidates’ skills in subjects such as mathematics, chemistry, physics, English, and logical reasoning. The test’s goal is to assess each candidate’s knowledge and proficiency in these areas in order to determine if they are qualified for admission. The test is held in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode.
PESSAT results are typically released a few days after the test. Depending on the criteria of the programme, candidates are chosen for subsequent admission rounds based on their performance, such as counselling or personal interviews.

The People’s Education Society University (PES University) is a private University located in Bangalore, Karnataka. PESSAT Result 2023: PESSAT Counselling Process
After the result is released, the aspirants will be required to go through the process of counselling. PESSAT counselling is the procedure for allocating seats and granting admission to applicants who have passed the PESSAT exam administered by PES University in Bangalore, India. Based on their exam scores and performance, qualified candidates are contacted for counselling following the release of the PESSAT results. The counselling takes place in online mode.
The process of PESSAT Counselling consists of the following steps
- The candidates will be required to fill up their details such as name, date of birth etc. They will then be required to fill up their preference of branch of engineering.
- On the appointed date and time, candidates must appear at the assigned counselling centre. The university officials verify the candidate’s original documents, such as academic transcripts, identity documents, PESSAT rank cards, and other supporting documents, during counselling.
- Seats are allotted in the corresponding courses and programmes that PES University offers based on the candidate’s PESSAT score, the number of open seats, and the choices they have specified.
- After the above three steps have concluded, the candidate is required to pay the fees to the college. The fee can be paid through online mode or Bank Transfer/RTGS/NEFT.
